Bloxham School Yearlings B vs  Dean Close School
On: Saturday, 07 Oct 2017
Venue: at Home

After the loss against Cokethorpe, Bloxham returned to winning ways with a resounding 41-10 victory over Dean Close. Dean Close scored within the first minute after winning a scrum close to the Bloxham try line, however Bloxham soon hit back with a try from Oliver Loudon, converted by Cameron Smith. Bloxham scored two further tries through Oliver Loudon, and an impressive long range effort from Toby Bint to go in 17-5 up at the end of the first third.

Bloxham scored an early try in the 2nd third, however Dean Close responded with a try of their own, narrowing the score to 22-10. Isaac Myles however secured the Bloxham victory with a strong run from the half way line, which resulted in him scoring in the corner. Further Bloxham tries came from Sam Kentigern, Ben Ash and Harry Cooke on his return from injury as Bloxham began to run away with the game towards the end.

A number of individuals put in strong performances, none more so than Toby Bint and Oliver Loudon who made good ground in the middle of the pitch, however Bloxham will need to play more as a team next week if they are to record back to back victories for the first time this season.
