Match report 9th November Ashfold school

On the 9th of November, Bloxham 2nd form girls played Ashfold school with an A and B team. The A’s drew 4-4 and the B’s unfortunately lost 2-5.

Whilst the B team were passing before the match, Sophie showed some great effort when pushing passing and Ines’s slaps were excellent. When the first half of the match started, Ashfold were quick to get the ball near to the goal and Sophie’s great defending and slaps helped the team keep possession of the ball. When Ashfold tried to score again, Kat was super at saving the ball from hitting into the middle of the goal. Annie scored an excellent goal to finish the first half although the score was unfortunately 4-1 to Ashfold. In the second half the girls were making great progress as Camilla had super, smooth control on the ball and Orla R’s shots were high and powerful. As the girls had great high and wide spacing, they were able to get high much easier. Chloe scored a clean goal and at the end of the match, the score was 5-2 to Ashfold. Camilla got Man of the Match.
