Bloxham School U14A vs  Stowe School
On: Saturday, 07 Oct 2017
Venue: Away

The team had trained hard during the week and were motivated to do their best against a rival Stowe Team. Many players knew each other which meant pre game nerves were high.

Bloxham started with a 5-3-2 formation with Gemma Leah and Chyme as the back bone of the team which worked really well. The ball was being moved effectively and Bloxham had good possession which resulted in a goal just on the halftime whistle BY PIPPA LIITTLE

2nd half we became defensive with Leah dropping into centre supported by Chyme and lucy but connections with the midfield and forwards broke down and Stowe soon took advantage scoring early and then gaining momentum by picking their game up. Our midfield struggled maintsin possesion giving our defence a lot of work to do. Stowe dominated - good goal keeping by Millie wasn't enough to stop there forwards from striking and scoring.

Good penalty flick by Stowe and 3 short corners resulted in poor second half.
