Match Report
Bloxham School 2nd XI vs  Rugby School Girls-U18C
On: Saturday, 21 Sep 2019
Venue: Away

Another scorching day in the sunshine for the 2nd XI and yet another 6.30pm return to Bloxham! The first 20 minutes showed that all of the hard work done so far this term had paid off as Bloxham were the dominant team, creating chances and scoring a great goal. One hard accurate pass from our 22m line, from Scarlett LJ, and two passes later Izzy B slots the ball past the keeper. It was hardly surprising, given the heat, that the game would gradually become increasingly scrappy, and "scrappy" is an appropriate description for the Rugby equaliser. A slightly improved level of fitness and greater thought when passing the ball, and Bloxham will develop into a very good team. Hopefully they can take the lessons learned from today into Wednesday's fixture against Princethorpe.
