Match Report
Bloxham School Yearlings A vs  Bishop Wordsworth's School
On: Tuesday, 23 Nov 2021
Venue: Away

Bloxham progressed to Round 4 of the National Schools Cup with an impressive victory against a spirited Bishop Wordsworth's side. Bloxham took some time to get going, with the long coach journey playing its part in a scratchy start and the home side's skilful half backs keeping them in the game early on, but following nice tries by Sonny Goode and Junior Denny, the team settled down and eventually played some very good rugby. Junior ultimately scored three tries, and by the time Sam Mackintosh stormed through for the final try, Bloxham had scored nine in total, with captain Noah Cloete claiming one as well as seven conversions for a personal tally of 19 points. Harry Sturla was awarded 'man-of-the-match' for his excellent distribution from the base of the ruck as well as a try which involved bouncing off the goalpost. Beechen Cliff from Bath await Bloxham in the next round, so another long coach journey lies ahead.
